Mr. David Dwayne Edenfield, age 54, of Ailey died early Friday morning, November 1, 2013 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after a brief illness.
Mr. Edenfield was a native of Savannah and lived most of his life in Ailey. He was an Independent truck driver and a member of Old Line Primitive Baptist Church of Vidalia.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Edenfield of Ailey; one daughter, Casey Sikes and her husband William of Ailey; one granddaughter, Haley Nicole Sikes of Ailey; his mother, Doris Edenfield of Ailey; one brother, Michael Edenfield and one sister Carol Craft.
Funeral Services for Mr. David Dewayne Edenfield will be held Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2:00 from Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with Elder Joe Nettles officiating. Interment will follow in Ferguson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 – 8pm.
Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service of Vidalia is in charge of funeral arrangements.

There are no words that can console your family, but faith in God and time will lessen the pain. David was a kind and dear friend to my family and children in their school years. He is at peace now and in no pain. May God bless you. Bessie Joyce and family.
